I’ve thought a lot about starting a marriage podcast. But I haven’t yet because of other projects and things on my plate. It’s a goal for the future and one that will happen in the next year or two most likely. But until then, I listen to and admire the other great marriage and relationship podcasts that are already out there!

I’ve had the privilege of being interviewed on a handful of relationship podcast episodes over the last couple of years. Every time an episode I’m part of goes live, I share it on my social media channels. But I realized that there isn’t a place here on the blog that houses all of those links. And because of that, a lot of you have probably missed listening to them.
I’ve been spending a lot of time the last six months listening to podcasts and catching up on older episodes from some of my favorite ones. Because of that, I’ve listened to a lot of my own interviews again this year. And not to sound too prideful, but a lot of the advice I’ve given in those interviews has been pretty darn good. So if you have some time, tune into one of the episodes I’ve linked below! While you’re at it, subscribe to these podcasting friends of mine and learn from them and the other guests they invite to be on their podcasts.
Relationship Podcasts that have Featured A Prioritized Marriage
Supporting Your Gluten-Free Spouse While Continuing to Eat Gluten
This first podcast episode was recorded just a few months after Joe received his celiac diagnosis. I was introduced to Coral through a mutual friend who was working for her at the time. And I was honored to be invited to be on her podcast, especially considering how new to the journey we were. I loved chatting with Coral and sharing how I, as a gluten-eating spouse, support my gluten-free eating husband. From keeping our kitchen safe to making sure he doesn’t feel left out at meals, to planning date night. We talked about it all! Click here to listen to the podcast episode.
Grow Yourself, Grow Your Marriage – How to Prioritize Your Marriage
This interview with Chris and Johnna was one of the first that I ever recorded and I had so much fun doing it! These two have a few kids, close in age. So we bonded over the challenge that having kids brings to your marriage. And how things between you can change when you add kids to the mix. We talked about making time for date night and making sure that you’re a team in everything. We also talked about communication and getting your spouse on board with your marriage strengthening efforts. Click here to listen to the podcast episode.
Prioritizing Yourself and Prioritizing Your Marriage
I loved chatting with Lynzi about how making myself and my goals a priority have helped my marriage over the last few years. Recognizing that I can’t expect other people to take care of my needs all the time, and starting to put myself first, has helped me to be a better person all around. Until that point, I kept expecting my husband to give me time, or take care of my needs. But when I started doing those things myself, I was more fulfilled. And better able to show up in all of my roles in life, especially as a wife. Click here to listen to the podcast episode.
How to Continue Dating After Marriage
I was excited when my friend, Monica, invited me to be a guest on her podcast! I’d recently participated in The Epic Marriage Summit she put on and knew that she was a great interviewer. This is one of the episodes that I most recently listened to again, and it was such a good one! Monica and I talked about the importance of dating your spouse, what it looks like, and how to make it happen no matter where you’re at in your marriage. I even shared some great, low-cost date night ideas. Click here to listen to the podcast episode.
How to Have AND Prioritize Date Night During Stay at Home
My friend Rachel Ballard invited me to join her on her podcast early on this year, to talk specifically about at-home date nights. I was so excited to get to talk about something I’ve been passionate about for years, that some couples were only starting to discover. This was a great episode that I hope will be evergreen. And help couples make date night happen more regularly, even after they’re able to go out more often again. Click here to listen to the podcast episode.
Secrets to a Successful Marriage
I LOVED talking with Liz about all things marriage! Her podcast audience is working moms, who are searching for that “balance” with their other roles in life. We talked about raising kids and running a household and going to school and working and pursuing your own life dreams, all while growing your marriage. This episode tackles all of the topics, from date night to connecting while apart to scheduling intimacy in your marriage. Click here to listen to the podcast episode.
I’ve had so much fun being interviewed for these various podcasts over the last couple of years. They all have a different focus, and we’ve been able to tie marriage into each of them. I love being able to share my passion with others. And as you can probably tell, I get really excited any time I get to talk about it at length with someone! I hope to be invited to be on more relationship podcasts in the future, and will be sure to share those when I am!
