We received a discounted room rate from Anniversary Inn in exchange for this post, however all opinions are my own.
I had high hopes for this weekend. I’m happy to say that it lived up to and even exceeded my expectations! With the chaos of life, work and our new house, we really needed some time to relax and enjoy each other’s company and that’s exactly what we got these last three days. I’m really sad that it had to end, and want to start planning our next relaxing weekend ASAP.
Whenever we start planning a weekend getaway, we always think about The Anniversary Inn first. I love their mission statement, “The Anniversary Inn exists to provide a place where couples can escape from the pressures of everyday life and share a time of peace and relaxation together, thereby creating positive memories which will strengthen their relationship” and I feel like this is exactly what we get every time we stay there.
We’ve stayed at Utah’s Most Romantic Getaway a total of four times now. On our wedding night, we stayed at the 5th South SLC location in their Romeo and Juliet Suite. Last year for our second anniversary, we stayed in Logan’s Hollywood Romance Theater Suite. We started what we hope will be a yearly tradition and escaped to Logan again for our birthdays in October to stay in their La Hacienda Suite. And we celebrated our three year anniversary in Logan again this weekend in the Cajun Romance suite. I may or may not have a list of suites picked out that I want to stay in when we get away in the future. 😉
^^Every little detail adds to the atmosphere of the suite.
^^The first thing we check out when we get to our room is the tub, we’re weird like that.
^^Joe really liked the shower in our suite and I loved the bathroom faucet.
With the lights dimmed, this next room reminded me of the atmosphere at the beginning of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland, perfect for a Cajun Romance theme. It felt like a bayou and I loved it!!
One of my favorite things about The Anniversary Inn are their amenities. They have the most delicious chocolate mints, and you can celebrate your special occasion with complimentary sparkling cider and cheesecake, but the best part is their complimentary breakfast. We love bed & breakfasts that bring breakfast directly to your room, it’s a tiny detail that helps us decide if we want to stay somewhere or not. It’s nice to feel like we can sleep in and don’t need to get ready before going to breakfast where other people might not appreciate our “just rolled out of bed” look. It’s also nice to eat breakfast in bed together without worrying about a puppy trying to steal our food 😉
^^Anniversary Inn’s breakfast never disappoints. They also have delicious cinnamon rolls and ham and cheese croissants. And we ALWAYS get hot chocolate. Yum, yum, I wish I was having their breakfast again this morning.
If you live in the Utah/Idaho area or are ever here for a visit, I can’t recommend The Anniversary Inn enough. The Logan location is my personal favorite to visit. It’s a beautiful area, there are a lot of fun things to do, great places to eat and their suites are amazing! Logan is just far enough from home that it feels like a real getaway but close enough to still be considered a staycation in my mind.
They also have locations in Boise, 5th South in SLC and South Temple in SLC if those are more convenient to where you live!
Have you ever stayed at one of The Anniversary Inn locations? Which suite is your favorite? Which suite do you want to stay in next?
