Some of the most popular posts on the blog are the Date Night Bucket List posts. I’ve loved creating them over the last year and a half, but our busy and unpredictable schedules made it next to impossible to complete very many of the activities that I came up with. This year, instead of creating a new list every season, I decided to write down a few of the date ideas that we’ve had over the last four years but haven’t done yet. As we cross each date off the list over the next twelve months, I will write a post about it! I’m excited to make date night a priority this year, especially because I know it will be more of a struggle after the baby comes in May!

The Movie Grille – I just recently heard about this fun place close to us that serves you really good food while you watch a movie in their reclining leather seats. It sounds like the perfect place for a date and I can’t wait to try it out! If it’s as good as people say it is, it may become a regular date night location for us. Date night completed on November 21, 2015.
Drive In Movie & Picnic – I’ve never been to a drive in theater and it’s something that I’ve wanted to do for a few years now. This date night would help me cross something off my personal bucket list as well. We will most likely have a sleeping baby with us for this one, but it should still be a lot of fun! Date night completed on August 15, 2015.
Lucky 13 & Bees Baseball Game – Our local minor league baseball stadium is a block or two away from a bar/restaurant that I’ve been told has the most amazing burgers ever. This date has been on our list for a couple of years, and this year I’m determined to make it happen. Lucky 13 date night completed on August 29, 2015.
Hike & Picnic – There are a lot of beautiful hikes in our area but we’ve yet to go on one together. When the leaves change colors in the fall, I think this would make the perfect family date afternoon. This date activity will also help with my goal to be more active this year.
The Melting Pot – It’s one of the most romantic restaurants and the atmosphere is awesome from what I’ve heard. Every once and a while, we decide to splurge and eat somewhere really fancy, so I’ll be looking for every excuse to celebrate something this year to give us a good excuse to eat here.
Moonlight Ride Up the Ski Slope – One of the resorts in Utah has a romantic date activity every year around late summer/early fall. You can ride the ski lift up the mountain in the moonlight. I can’t remember which resort it is right now, but I’ve heard great things about it.
Pedal Boats & Ferris Wheel – This is a random date that I’ve been wanting to do for a while. I think it could be a lot of fun! There’s a park downtown that has both pedal boats and a ferris wheel running during the warm months. This will make a really great afternoon date sometime.
Bowling, Mini Golf & Arcade Games – These are three of Joe’s favorite things to do and it’s been a while since we’ve done any of them together. There’s a fun place ten minutes away from us where we can do all of these things plus maybe play laser tag.
Shooting Range – I shot a gun for the first time in my life a couple of years ago and ever since then we’ve talked about going to the range for a date, but we’ve never done it. Maybe I’ll learn to hit the center of the target one of these days. Date night completed on June 6, 2015
Food Cart Date – We talked about doing this last summer for date night, but we spent so much time on house projects that it didn’t happen. Joe wants to try a couple of local taco trucks because he misses the street tacos that he used to eat in Mexico and I really want to try the massive, as big as your head, snow cones that I see everyone post on Instagram.
