I’m a big fan of using date night subscription boxes. Especially for times when we’re not able to leave our house! We’ve found that one of our favorite boxes, Date Night In, is perfect for turning into multiple nights at home. You get one box each month, and that box can cover a few weeks of date nights. Or you can use it throughout the week, and have more fun together. I thought I’d share how we take that one box and make multiple dates out of it! This is our Date Night In review!

Whether you have a couple of hours to kill or a short amount of time to spend together, you can pull out your box and have a lot of fun! Here are some suggestions for splitting up your date box activities.
Each date night box comes with links to a complimentary dinner menu. Just the dinner alone makes a great at-home activity. Pull up the playlist provided to you, from Spotify, and enjoy cooking together. It can be fun to work together in the kitchen and help you learn how to be a better team. Then sit down and talk about topics inspired by the theme of the box, while you eat. You’ll be making new food, enjoying time together, and eating something yummy!
This tip works best on weekends when we don’t feel like we have enough time for a date. We can pull out our date box and pick just one activity from the list and have a little fun together! This particular box had a lot of fun things to choose from, as you can see in the image below. I particularly loved M.A.S.H. and Dare or Karaoke!
Take a week off streaming services and pull out your date box each night. Pick one activity from the list and do it together. It’s a new, fun, and intentional way to spend your nights together. You’ll have a lot of fun and you’ll connect with each other at the same time.
When your date night box arrives, take a look at everything that’s inside. Use the “table of contents” to plan two or three dates from the box. You’ll have a few weekends of fun planned, without having to leave the house. This is great for new parents, and parents with young kids if you have a weekend when you’re feeling sick, or when you’re extra tired.
You don’t have to feel like you need to make your box last all month! If you are able to spend a few hours together during your date night at home, enjoy the entire box! There are always a lot of fun, themed activities, crafts, meal ideas, and even playlists included. We’ve loved every box that we’ve ever received!
