Between
The Between app is like a mobile hub for your marriage. It has the capability to remind you of relationship milestones, keep track of upcoming events, and create notes for each other. But the piece of the app that is great for the intimate side of your relationship is the space it has for private conversations. You get an extra passcode just for the app so you don’t have to worry about anyone stumbling across a text message, email, etc. that is for your eyes only. A similar app we used previously kept the push notification private as well. So anyone glancing over your shoulder or using your phone couldn’t see what was sent as the notification popped up.

Gottman Card Decks
I recommend the Gottman Card Decks app to every couple who asks for suggestions! I love their conversation starters and that they are divided into different “decks” depending on what you’re looking for. There are decks of questions to ask on date night, to get to know your spouse better and more. There are two different pieces of the app that are perfect for couples looking to spice things up in their marriage. The first one is the Sex Questions card deck that allows you to discuss your personal boundaries, interests, and fantasies when it comes to intimacy. The other is the three “Salsa” decks with intimate activities and suggestions divided up into mild, medium, or hot. You pick your level of comfort and use the ideas to bring you closer together with your physical intimacy. Download this app, it’s a fantastic one!!

Desire
I have the Desire app downloaded onto my phone, but I have to admit that I haven’t ever used it. The app itself is a game with dares you can send your partner and complete for points. It was created with the goal of helping you keep the romance alive and adding more spice to your relationship. You’ll find hundreds of dares you can send to your spouse and each dare is worth points. When you send the dare, you can set a timer for when your spouse should complete the dare. The more points you earn, the more steamy the dares that are available to you. This app also has a private messaging section and a journal where you can record the memories made when you complete the dares.

Love Sync
Love Sync is an app with a really simple concept, but it’s one I believe could benefit a lot of couples. How do you let your spouse know that you’re in the mood for intimacy? Some couples have a signal or a code word that they can speak out loud or text. Others have an object they use to communicate their desire, kind of like is used to signal that you’re ready for more food, taking a break, or done eating at Brazilian grills. Maybe you and your spouse know just by the way you interact with each other throughout the day.
Love Sync is one of those tools you can use to let your spouse know you’re up for it if they are. Any time one of you is in the mood, you tap the app. If the other partner has also tapped the app, within a specific time frame, you’ll both be notified. Otherwise, it will remain a secret between you and the app, until the next time you tap. It’s not for everyone, but I can see it being very beneficial for some couples.

Coral
Coral is free to download but requires a $59.99/year subscription to access all of the content and take full advantage of what the app has to offer. We have not used this app but it has received many rave reviews and it felt worth adding to this post. One review said that Coral is “a pioneer in the sexual wellness market and the only sexual wellness app designed for everyone”. The interface is stunning and the app was created for individual improvement which will lead to relationship improvement as well. I am impressed by the reviews, features, and various write-ups on the app. Check it out for yourself and see if it might be something that would benefit your marriage.
