In my experience, husbands can be the hardest people to shop for, especially if they don’t have anything they want. After talking to a group of wives about what they were getting their husbands for Christmas this year, I found most experienced one of two situations. Their husband knew exactly what he wanted for Christmas and they got it for him, even if they thought it was crazy. Or their husband had no clue what he wanted, and they had no ideas to work with. If you’re having trouble figuring out what to gift the man in your life, I hope this list of unique Christmas gift ideas for your husband will help!
Christmas Gift Ideas for Your Husband
Bidet
I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is a gift every husband would love! I purchased one for Joe for his birthday a few years ago. And now he won’t use any other toilet in the house because the one with the bidet is his favorite. Earlier this year, his brother bought one for his toilet in his parents’ basement. After working from home for months in the basement, my father-in-law loved it so much and talked about it so much that my mother-in-law bought one for his birthday to put on their master bedroom toilet.
This is the bidet that we have at our house. I’d suggest this model of the same brand because it has an option for warm water. Ours is so blasted cold!
Autobiography Journal
Give your husband a prompted journal to help him record his life story. Autobiography journals are a great way to capture your husband’s memories and moments from his life.
Massage Gun
My husband received this as a gift after his brother let him try one he’d just purchased. It’s nice because it dismantles and fits in its little case in his bedside table drawer. But it’s got some power behind it and really loosens knots and tense muscles when you have them. You can pick your speed and pressure, so even our kids love to get a back massage with it. This is the one that we own and love!
A box of meat
This might sound random, but one year for Christmas, my in-laws gifted each couple with a variety box of meats from a local butcher. My husband immediately declared it the best gift idea ever! You can make your husband’s year with a Butcher Box subscription. You choose what you want in your box each month, and they deliver the meat right to your door, still frozen! Funny sign for the bathroom
We all joke that our husbands spend the most time in the bathroom. Why not make the bathroom a place he enjoys being? Just be warned, after I got a bidet, squatty potty, and some funny quotes for our bathroom, my husband decided he couldn’t use any of the others in the house.
Large cereal bowl
This cute hand-etched cereal bowl caught my eye the other day! Pair it with a few boxes of your husband’s favorite cereals, and a custom cereal spoon made just for him.
Smartwatch
I gifted my husband with a Fossil Watch last year for Christmas. After wearing one of my own for a year, I knew he needed one too. They recharge every night while you sleep. And track all of the things like your steps, active minutes, and heart rate. I also love that I can leave my phone in the other room and receive notifications on my watch. Date night subscription
Have one date night a month planned and delivered to your house for the next year. That’s one of your husband’s turns to plan a date night each month that will be taken care of for him! You can get subscription boxes specifically put together for date night. Or find a fun hobby subscription box that you know the two of you would enjoy doing together. I hope these Christmas gift ideas for your husband have helped you out! My husband is the last one on my list that I need to shop for, so I created this list as much for myself as I did for you. I know that no matter what you get him, he’ll be thrilled because it came from you and you thought of him when you decided to gift it.
